Bug Description
When I select Format->Page I see that the page numbering is set to 1, 2,... but no page numbers are actually printed.
(bug reported over 5-years ago and not fixed). LibreOffice Writer still does not do duplex printing. Workaround - export to PDF and then use any other program to print duplex. They all work except LibreOffice Writer.

Robert, to have page numbers printed in a text document, you need to insert a "page number" field in the header/footer section of the page, this is not done automatically for new documents.
Just tested (printed to PDF) and that works as expected.
The Format/Page dialog allows you to select the type of numbering you want, it doesn't mean that page numbers will be inserted by default.
Regarding the second issue (duplex printing), you already mentioned it on https:/ /bugs.documentf oundation. org/show_ bug.cgi? id=60428 and it was suggested that you file a new bug upstream with details about your printer. Did you do it? Can you share the upstream bug number? Thanks!
