Bug Description

OS: Ubuntu Mate 18.04.1 LTS (Bionic Beaver)
Linux kernel: 4.15.0-39-generic x86_64
MATE: 1.20.1
Panel layout: netbook
Google Chrome: 70.0.3538.110
Mozilla Firefox: 63.0.3

When any windows is maximized windows commands are dublicated in mate panel.

I also have this problem on latest Ubuntu-MATE 18.04.2 LTS, does not happen on Xubuntu, Lubuntu or any other Ubuntu flavor. Only way back is to toggle "Use system title bar and borders".

Also happening in 20.04 LTS

Tried Marco & Marco Adaptive Compositor, still same behavior.

Also theres a new glitch in 20.04 that if I maximize a restored window, half of it dissapears. Same solution as before, right click on the tabs area, then select "use system title bars and borders" the repeat to disable it.

That is a feature of the netbook layout in Ubuntu MATE 18.04, which is now EOL. Since Ubuntu MATE 22.04 the netbook layout is no longer available.
