Bug Description
Hello,
When using the live version of Bionic 18.04, when I launch Caja once the system finished loading up, displaying the folders takes a very long time. Once it is possible to navigate through folders, when I open up documents, this process also takes a long time.
I ran Caja using 'sudo caja' because it displays the bugs in the terminal window.
Someone can see why this happens? I wonder if I am the only one and if it is related to my hardware.
Terminal window error messages when loading up Caja as root:
(caja:10035): GLib-GIO-CRITICAL **: 23:25:46.470: g_dbus_proxy_new: assertion 'G_IS_DBUS_
(caja:10035): GLib-GIO-CRITICAL **: 23:25:46.470: g_dbus_proxy_new: assertion 'G_IS_DBUS_
RuntimeError: object at 0x7f8aacea4500 of type FolderColorMenu is not initialized
RuntimeError: object at 0x7f8aacea4280 of type RenameMenu is not initialized
I am also wondering if this slow behavior is linked to the 'G_IS_DBUS_
Best regards,
J
