Bug Description

Using Ubuntu Mate 17.10 in "Cupertino" mode. Topmenu appeared with standard FF. Loaded the newest FF from a PPA. At first, version 57, the topmenu showed up, but after an update to FF 58, the menu disappeared.

Of course you can show the menu through FF customization, but then the menu is integrated in the FF window, not in the topmenu. Also, in that case, HUD (through Alt) does not work.

I would like to confirm that this bug still exists for Firefox version 76 installed in Ubuntu 20.04. I raise this concern for two reasons.

1. It would be nice to use HUD with Firefox if possible. I have confirmed that HUD works with other programs in 20.04, just not with Firefox.

2. The current Ubuntu Mate Guide shows an animated GIF for HUD usage with Firefox. If Firefox did something that has permanently broken compatibility with the HUD, perhaps the Ubuntu Mate Guide could be updated with a different animated GIF just for consistency and a note in the Guide that not all programs are compatible with the HUD ie. Firefox.

Sadly Firefox no longer carries the required capabilities to expose it's menus so they are accessible via the HUD.
