Bug Description

Hello,

as an example, KDE Dolphin serves, here is the safe removal already quite well realized. The display, at the bottom right of the control bar, indicates when a USB stick can be safely removed or not, if it is still in use.

The following still very important function would be particularly important:

Situation: If the external data carrier can not yet be subtracted because some program still has access.

Unfortunately, in Dolphin it is not recognizable which program still has access and which hinders the safe removal of the stick. This is particularly disturbing if no reaction is recognizable on the stick.

This uncertainty, which is now up-to-date in Ubuntu-Mate, is a major risk to the external disk when it is removed at an inappropriate time. Particularly good, the display, which program would prevent the safe removal.

Or is there already an extension that meets these needs?

Best regards

Willy Wagner
