Paket Manger window scaling problems 16.10/17.04

When updating or installing programs the "details" option of the paket manager won't show correctly.
There is a small window where you either see the list and progress of programs being updated
or a small terminal window when installing a programm.

When I click on "details" to show this window it is very small and will not scale
with the window of the paket manager.
Sometimes it is even so small that you cannot see anything.

This problem accures on a notebook with Ubuntu Mate 16.10 and reproducible
in a virtual machine under both 16.10 and 17.04
I don't have this problem on my PC with 16.04 LTS
