Installer failed while attempting to install Beta 1 of Ubuntu MATE Remix

This was an attempt to install Ubuntu MATE to my hard drive. Installer crashed during grub-install procedure. No further information.

Erich, thanks for the bug report. We've been discussing this is IRC. I think I'm going to make a Beta1a soon specifically to address this.

Excellent news, Martin. It was pretty much a show stopper as you can imagine.

This happened to me today as well. I'm not a very sophisticated Linux user … new to it, in fact … so I can't say where my installation failure occurred. What I CAN say is that it was a disappointment as I really enjoyed MATE over Unity when running from the LiveUSB.

Any ETA on when this might be troubleshot and corrected?
