Unable to setup without internet

Unable to setup without internet. It Keep asking me to choose a mirror of the ubuntu archive and it seems require internet to detect the archive mirror.

What test case? Does it say to use Internet? Are you connected to the Internet when doing this test?

If this is a bug - it's not a testcase bug in all likelihood - but a bug with the installer somewhere.

Hi,

I'm not sure whether is this a bug. I'm installing the ubuntu server 14.04 LTS and following the guide at "http://ubuntuserverguide.com/2014/04/how-to-install-ubuntu-server-14-04-trusty-tahr.html". I have done 2 test when perform the installation. And FYI, I'm not connect to the internet.

1. Skip the network configuration and it will prompt me to "Choose a mirror of the Ubuntu archive" and after I choose the mirror, it will prompt me "Bad archive mirror"

2. Configure the network manually and eventually it still prompt me to "Choose a mirror of the Ubuntu archive" and i will still get the the "Bad archive mirror".

Is there any ways to install without the need of internet ?

I report here because it seems the installation steps which listed in the test case is different with the steps I have when I install the OS.

Reporting against the testcase will make no difference to your issue - all that could possibly happen (but won't) is the testcase changes to say you can't install without internet - you'd still be in the same place.
