Step 24 of the Unencrypted home test (but oddly not the encrypted home test) says to "Select No to install grub boot loader to master boot record and a dialog box for your partition information will come up and you can choose target drive from there manually, for example /dev/sda or /dev/sdb." The testcase should say to select Yes to install grub boot loader to the master boot record as testing that worked and created a bootable system.
