Bug Description
Missing Testcase Variant for VM install in section 5/6/7/8 for test case 1301:
Section 5:
Select Install FAMILY XX.XX alongside SYSTEM YY
(SYSTEM YY is the name of the system already installed on disk (FAMILY 12.04, Windows 7, ...)
Since this is a VM install, options displayed are:
"This computer has no detected operating system. What would you like to do".
I selected 'Erase and install Ubuntu'.
Section 6/7/8: There is no 'Forward Button' in the above scenario, but an 'Install Now' button. @Write changes to disk' dialogue appears:
The partition otables of the following devices are changed:
SCSI3 (0,0,0) (sda)
The following partitions are going to be formatted:
partition #1 of SCI3 (0.0.0)(sda) as ext4
partition #1 of SCI3 (0.0.0)(sda) as swap
Instruction 7/8 are not applicable to this situation:
7. Note the drive selected on the Select drive list and the bar state
8. Move the slider bar that separates the grey sections as appropriate

Hi,
Yes, I downloaded VirtualBox and then used that to install from scratch.
(I foolishly packed my server box into the container when I moved to
Dublin, and won't be getting hold of it for a while yet, gah. Then again,
I think lots of people will still use the Inspiron 9400 and xubuntu is a
good choice for this legacy laptop)

It seems you did not have an already installed OS.
Did you install an OS on the virtual disk you were testing on?
