Bug Description

After upgrading my system to Ubuntu 22.04 Clementine doesn't scrobble my music to lastfm.
I upgraded from 20.04, so I don't know if this problem is new or exists with versions between 20.04. and 22.04

Having the same issue. Clementine will report to last.fm the currently playing song so that I see the correct "now listening" track in last.fm, but it will fail to send the completed scrobble as track is never cataloged into the last.fm history.

There is an issue for this on github, here:

https://github.com/clementine-player/Clementine/issues/6829

It's a problem with Clementine 1.4 rc4 that seems to appear across distros. A quick fix seems to be making a directory in your home folder for the plugin to use:

   mkdir ~/.local/share/Last.fm

Worked for me as a hack. Good luck!

I solved the problem. Add a folder "Last.fm" in /home/user/.local/share
For me it works fine
