Bug Description

I have a cifs share on my server canyon with the following shares
C$
D$
Data
Photos
Music

the canyon server is running debian and has samba shares that i can access via other debian systems and windows boxes. thus ruling out access issues or samba config issues.

my Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS client has autofs installed via apt-get, looks to be version 5.1.2 and i'm able to access the Data, Photos and Music shares, but the C$ & D$ come back as no such file or directory

user@ubuntu:/cifs/canyon$ cd C\$/
-bash: cd: C$/: No such file or directory

doing some searching online,it was suggested to stop the autofs service and run the prog from the command line with verbose text, and it seems to confirm issues with the admin shares

user@ubuntu:/cifs/canyon$ sudo automount -f -v

is it possible to get this fixed?
