Bug Description
[Impact]
Narrow loads for bpf_perf_event_data is not possible on 32-bit arches.
[Test case]
Run the bpf test_verifier.
[Potential regression]
Loading sample_period of bpf_perf_event_data may fail. Unaligned access may lead to processor exceptions on some architectures.
=======
This issue was only spotted on i386 Bionic kernel.
