Bug Description

Installing Grub on a HP D530 ultra slim with only USB ports.

Installation performs well, however post installation keyboard works until the Grub menu but not after, Have tried USB to PS2 converters etc - same issue.

Have read possibility of fix by adding pci=noacpi irqpoll - tried but unsuccessful.

Are you trying to install JeOS directly on your HP D530? Ubuntu JeOS was not designed for that at all... Please see //www.ubuntu.com/products/whatisubuntu/serveredition/jeos for more info and use Ubuntu Server Edition to install on real hardware.

I am trying to install it on the D530 directly, and am aware its not "meant" to be, but it its lean mean and ubuntu I can carve the hardware and turn it into my own black box.

If Ive got a keyboard at grub surely there is a way of keeping it at prompt?

Isnt Linux the king of mods?

Ubuntu JeOS is meant for virtual environments. It's not supposed to run
at all on real hardware.

You probably want the server edition.

Sure. That way is to not use JeOS, but one of our editions that are
meant to run on actual hardware.
