Bug Description
We have internal customer request on how to fetch a specific branch of gadget tree to build a classic image.
Unfortunately, ubuntu-image doesn't support it yet atm.

This is no longer applicable due to the fact that we ripped out the gadget-tree building logic from ubuntu-image (because of the snapcraft dependency). All this will be done as part of livecd-rootfs's work. Marking invalid.
