Bug Description

We do not appear to have human language translation support in HTML5 apps. (i18n + l10n)

There is no standard way to write an HTML5 app in a language agnostic way and provide translations at run time from per language message catalogs based on the OS locale.

We will almost certainly need this.

To be consistent with LP translation infrastructure, QML apps and most Ubuntu software, and to make use of the Ubuntu translation community, it should probably be based on GNU gettext.
