2018-04-23 19:58:06 Bob Merhebi description I have recently been having trouble drivers. I ended up reinstalling my system (Ubuntu Gnome 16.04.4). Things gone bad: - CPU#1 stuck (on reboot) - Gnome-shell consuming 150-200%+ CPU - touchpad lacks palm detection - Brightness control and airplane mode do not work anymore (other Fn keys work) kernel 4.13.0.38 + - External monitor not detected with Type-C adapter (used to work; currently only works with NVIDIA driver; not tested yet in the latest installation; yesterday It was working with the NVIDIA driver) - a bunch of PCIe errors in dmesg System used: - Dell XPS 15 9560 (2017) - Ubuntu Gnome 16.04.4 (downloaded from website yesterday) - System is encrypted.
