Bug Description
Using Ubuntu GNOME 17.04 and GNOME 3.24.2, when pressing <super key> to display the Activities Overview of gnome-shell, the thumbnails of the workspaces shows only half of windows. I noticed it happens with Google Chrome windows that are maximized and with hardware acceleration enabled, it happens both using nouveau and Nvidia proprietary drivers. I noticed that after I reload GNOME Shell with Alt+F2+'r', the thumbnails are displayed as expected. I could not replicate on Debian 9 with GNOME 3.24.3.
