Minimized windows show minimize button still being held down when in AO under Wayland

Bug Description

After switch from Xorg to Wayland on Ubuntu GNOME 16.10 with GNOME 3.22 I have found that when a window is minimized the minimized button will still appear held down when I view it in the AO:

However it appears normally when the program is not minimized:
