Bug Description
Hello,
I receive a new HP laptop and since I've installed him with ubuntu-gnome I encounter a rare problem. Each time I cold start or reboot the system, after something like one minute, the fans go crazy and my mouse move very hardly on the screen for about 4/5 minutes. After what ... everything run smooth.
top and htop show me that 4 process eat the CPU : Xorg (80/100%) and tracker (tracker-store 100/130%, tracker-miner-fs 15/20% and tracker-extract 5/35%).
My / is a single SSD, my /home is a raid 0 of two classic hard drive. iotop say that no one is overcharged. Just 5 to 10% of "IO" is in use.
I didn't understand why tracker, who run in background, have influence on Xorg. But when the system hang, if I put a
$ tracker daemon -k all
in a terminal, everything go back to normal, instantly.
help will be appreciate.
JM.
