When run under wayland, transparency puts a box around the terminal

Bug Description

When running under wayland, if background transparency is enabled, a thin grey box appears around the gnome-terminal window. see attached screenshot.

I believe this is the same as https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1207943 and the patch from there needs to be picked up by the ubuntu package in addition to the 0001-Restore-transparency.patch
