Bug Description

It does not matter whether the default video driver is installed on if the nvidia driver is installed. Any full-screen application looses its focus. I am not sure if I describe this correctly. If I launch Kodi, for example, in full screen mode on my second screen, then back on my first (default) screen I click on any window or anything, then return to click on Kodi again, It clicks whatever is in the background. I have to alt-tab to activate Kodi again and then everything works as normal.

If I have Kodi in window mode, this problem does not occur.

I have only tested this with Kodi and fullscreen mode and on a dual screen.

I've seen this with Chrome and Firefox fullscreen windows (usually YouTube).

I've seen this on stock Ubuntu GNOME 15.04 (gnome-shell 3.14), and also with the gnome3-staging PPA (gnome-shell 3.16).

I had a look at that link and the test proposed on comment 10 actually works for me

I have a similar issue, but without dual screen.

When Kodi is in fullscreen, and I change the volume with the media keys of my keyboard, the Gnome volume popup appears. From that point Kodi has lost focus and it becomes impossible to get it back, it's unusable.

That's on the latest gnome-shell (3.16) on Ubuntu Gnome 15.10.
