Evince's close button is not visible when in maximize mode in gnome shell

Bug Description
In Gnome shell environment, close button is no visible when window is in maximize mode. Also there is no quit option in menu.
The only option to close the window is to unmaximize first and close or alt+F4

I can confirm this is the case, however this was fixed and available in Ubuntu GNOME 14.10 without any ppa's. I'm not sure if we can backport the version from 14.10 to 14.04 at the moment, but will confirm.
