Networks list not populated in Sharing settings

Bug Description
Since GNOME 3.14 you have to select a network in the different sections in "Sharing" settings to specify to which network the sharing applies.
The "Networks" list isn't populated with network entries though. No wired nor wireless connections are listed. This makes it impossible to e.g. enabled "Media Sharing" because it results in the following error:

An attempt to toggle "Media Sharing" on with make the toggle quickly switch from on to off again.
Why isn't the list populated and how do I fix it?

This requires Network Manager 0.9.10 to work properly, that should be landing this cycle, but if it doesnt we may need to revert per-network sharing patches.
