Bug Description

Selecting app in message area can make app disappear and move to new workspace.

See attached video.

In the video I:

  * Move to an empty workspace.
  * Go to message area and select xchat icon.
  * You see app disappear from workspace 3.
  * Go back to message area and select xchat icon.
  * App appears in the empty workspace I am in.

What should happen:

When I select an icon for an app in the message area (such as xchat) it should take me to the workspace it is running on.
