~/.Xmodmap is not read automatically

Bug Description
Hi! I have some keys remapped with .Xmodmap and all was working fine in 12.04 (it was a minimal cd + gnome stuff installation). Now I've made a clean install of Ubuntu Gnome and I can't make my .Xmodmap file working automatically.
If I perform xmodmap ~/.Xmodmap everything is working like a charm, but even after suspend all my mappings are reset.
I suppose, it's somehow related to display manager and I've found similar bug (#1072120) but it's a lightdm+unity thing.
