pixman_region32_init_rect: Invalid rectangle passed when entering Sound menu in gnome-control-center

1. Open gnome-control-center from terminal.
2. Go to Sounds (or Keyboard).
3. This is what you get in terminal:
$ gnome-control-center

In pixman_region32_init_rect: Invalid rectangle passed
Set a breakpoint on '_pixman_log_error' to debug

Also, when trying to report this issue via ubuntu-bug, I got the following exception:

Hi, I have this error after upgrade from ubuntu 13.04 to ubuntu 13.10 beta. The gnome panel disappeared and the system is quite unstable.

Currently I am able to reproduce the issue with gnome-control-center 3.6.3-0ubuntu49 in Ubuntu Gnome in trusty.
