Bug Description
The tittle of i in in ligature (?) “fi” in 8pt bold is hardly visible (vanishes). A separate i looks okay, so the hinting from the 'i'.
Also check 'ffi' which is set as a composite of 'f' and 'fi'.

Is this deliberate perhaps? fi and ffi ligatures often drop the dot from the i. <https:/ /www.google. co.uk/search? q=fi+ligature& tbm=isch> It would be nice if fj did the same thing, but Unicode doesn't seem to have an fj ligature code point.
