(2) if you're able to, please could you try producing several (perhaps four to ten) more very slight variations on the glyph to make picking easier (eg. stem thickness, cut alignment).

When things are settled, I'll try to turn this into vectors in FontForge and mail it to Dalton Maag for them to do the engineering side and integrate.
