@ fitojb - thanks - I did see some talk in #ubuntu-desktop yesterday, by the time I saw this it was EOD - so reported it while I remembered ...

While this appears to only show in LO apps, I also notice that the choice of Ubuntu Light for my desktop gets replaced with Ubuntu Thin.

If that resolves the problem then this may be true. If not then it definitely is not.

I have this same effect on my Xenial (Unity) desktop. It is especially evident in chrome with URLs that contain numerics.

Without a fix we will have to revert to the previous version.

Probably related with bug #1512111 ("Ubuntu Light" font has heavier weight than "Ubuntu").

This bug was fixed in the package ubuntu-font-family-sources - 1:0.83-0ubuntu2
