Bug Description
I shared folder on my PC with Kubuntu 14.04.4 LTS.
$: ls -ld "/home/
drwxr-xr-x 2 tolik tolik 4096 мая 24 20:22 /home/tolik/
Then I tried to see it with filemanager app on by BQ Acquaris E5 HD Ubuntu Edition (Ubuntu 15.04 OTA-10.1). I opened "Places > Network" and saw only "WORKGROUP" that I was not able to open (no matter how many times I clicked "WORKGROUP").
I type in "Places" the following "smb://
Then I put image (on my PC) into shared folder and tried to open it on my phone. The content of shared folder refreshes on my phone only on "re-enter" to the folder.
I re-entered to shared folder and tried to open the image. It could not be opened. The only I see is poup with content
"Deleting files
operation in progress (0/1)
"---- 0% ----"
"Cancel"
Image file is not deleted after trying to view it, but it is not viewable
In address bar I see the following: "Device/ /192.168.1.2/ Общедоступны"
Symbol "е" is missed. "Общедоступны" instead of "Общедоступные"
Same for me. I have a Meizu Pro 5, OTA 10.2.
I share files from a Western Digital MyCloud using SMB, AFP, and NFS.
The expected behavior is that I tap on the "Network" link, and a list of servers is populated automatically the same way that desktop Ubuntu does. I expect to be able to tap on the name of my server, and a dialog box will appear for me to enter my user details. Then I can freely browser the filesystem of my shared folders.
What actually happens is that I tap on "Network", and it only lists "Workgroup". If I tap on "Workgroup", nothing else happens. If I manually enter the address using "Go To", then the "Go" button is permanently grayed out. If I further tap the enter button on the keyboard, then the file browser will attempt to connect, but still not ask for any user authentication. Then only way to connect as a specific user is to put everything in the address, such as "smb:// user:password@ 192.168. 0.1". Even then, if I tap the back button in the file browser, it seems to forget everything and default back to the unauthenticated "public" user.
