Don't remember the application for a particular File type

Bug Description
Whenever I chose to save or download a file, it asks me to select a application for that file.
So, "Open With" dialog appears, and I select a same application every time for the same file type.
I have saved 100's of images from different sources using (Dekko, browser, Gmail, and many more).
For the same file type (jpg) , it should remember the application to associate that file type after the first and the only time.
