sdcard: can not see files and folders until 'unlock full access' is used

Hi,
i use your file-manager-app, Version: 0.4.286 on BQ Aquaris E4.5.

1. copy files & folgers with rsync to sdcard

    rsync -rtv ~/ /media/phablet/<SDCARD>/

2. start you filemanager app
    open -> places
    choose the sdcard

3. see nothing

if i open it from PC if USB-Cable is connected i can see the files i copied with rsync.

Hi dennis,
I cannot see any file in my SD card when before I unlock full access. I am not sure if this is how it suppose to be, but here is how I do it:

Top right corner there are two menu buttons, choose the rightmost one (under the time, not the one under battery status)
there will be "unlock full access" option. When you click it - you should see everything. If not - the menu under battery indicator has "show hidden files" checkbox.
In my case first step is enough.

There should be a fix so that it is accessible without sudo permissions per menu because of danger and it is unusable for normal users when they need to type theirs PIN for only viewing some pics directly from the miniSD card.

Hi again,

Posted a comment (now hidden) and found that in fact the sdcard is accessible using 'unlock full access' by using the PIN. It might be clearer if the text in the pop up said 'Password or PIN' is required...' Apologies for any trouble.

I don't see why 'full access' is needed to open the SD card. It will only ever contain data put there by the user. I, for instance, have the camera set to save to the SD card. I don't know why I need to unlock full access to see the photos and videos I take.
