Installer freezes if GParted has been launched prior to the instalation

Bug Description
- Launch GParted
- Partition Disk
- Close GParted
- Launch Installer
- When Selecting partition method, select "partition manually"
click "Next"

It doesn't Freeze.
GParted takes forever to load, and just displays a blank window for a long time.
(enough to outlast my patience, btw)
