Bug Description

stelt> on "create new empty partition table on this device" it also says "Note that you will be able to undo this operation later if you wish." Shouldn't that be "... wil NOT ..." ?
<stelt> evand, that's not an "Undo", but a "Cancel" then. The current text obviously gives misinterpretation to some people
<evand> actually, both are true. You can undo the changes you make to the partition table on that same page, and you can cancel the install before you press the Install button.
<stelt> agreed. But that doesn't remove the significant room for misinterpretation
<stelt> "When the 'install' is finally committed ... " might be a basis for a better text

No, it really is an "undo". You can undo almost all changes at the partitioning stage including creating a new partition table (essentially, any changes unless it explicitly tells you that you *can't* undo something), and then go ahead and perform partitioning a different way. This is not the same as cancelling the whole installation; it's local to the manual partitioning screen.

I don't understand what bug you believe to exist here.

OK, maybe it's not ambiguous, but it sure is easy to misinterpret.
Definite room for improvement

PS: it crashes as soon as i've 'made' my first partition anyway, which means i can't install Ubuntu :-(
