Installler does not support installing to encrypted drives

Bug Description

The installer really needs to have a simple option to install Ubuntu inside an encrypted drive. This is becoming more and more important as laptops are being used more often with Ubuntu and the user needs to protect their files in case the laptop is stolen.

It would be nice if there was a page in the installation wizard that explained why the user would want to do this and offered a checkbox to enable it and type in the password for encryption.

Of course Linux supports this and I have configured my system this way manually but it was not an easy process and I think the installer needs to bring this feature to the masses and make it as easy as clicking a checkbox.
