reloading HAL drops ra0 from network Manager, then segfaults

Bug Description

When HAL is reloaded, during package installs or via etc/init.d/hal restart , the interface ra0 disappears from network-manager. After a while, network-manager usually segfaults.

Hard to say if this is a NM 0.7 - bug or a eeepc_laptop - bug.
