Bug Description

Hi all,

since yesterday, my Aquaris 4.5E Ubuntu shows 2 available actualizations (1 camera, 1 Telegram), but when I try to download, it doesnt download anything. Looks like waiting for data but it stays in 0%. Even if I try different wifis or mobil-connection.

Anybody can help pls?

Today I tried to update it via the ADB SHELL, like this:
phablet@ubuntu-phablet:~$ sudo apt-get upgrade
[sudo] password for phablet:
But it didnt work either, received this message:
W: Not using locking for read only lock file /var/lib/dpkg/lock
E: Unable to write to /var/cache/apt/
E: The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.

What else can I do?

So trying to do an update with apt is not what you want to do on your phone, you should be using system updates. The new image base updates and the apt-get tool do not play along together and you should not use apt-get unless you really know what you are doing.

I need more information to be able to debug your problem specially since you are the only user so far affected b y this bug, can you please attach the following files from your phone:

All files under /var/log/ubuntu-download-manager
All files under /home/phablet/.cache/ubuntu-download-manager/

With those files I will be able to find out exactly what is going one. I'm setting the bug as private to ensure that your data is not made public.

Hi Manuel,
the problem is solved after logging in again into the Ubuntu-store with my account, suddenly it works. Looks as if somehow I got logged out.
Gracias por todo!

(Setting back to "New" since the requested logs were provided. But unless the logs explain why the phone got signed out, this is unlikely to be fixable without steps to reproduce the problem.)
