According to the UITK1.3 specs, section "Indented list items":
"If the number of child items is likely to be large, consider using a page stack instead."
The number of items in a ToC may become very high (e.g. one of the documents we're using for the automatic tests[1]).
Currently, DocViewer show all the items, no matter if the item is indented or not. That leads to an extremely large list, which is not optimal for a mobile usage.
QUESTION:
UITK specs suggest to use a PageStack (which I suppose it means sub pages).
The problem is that we provide the ToC through a BottomEdge, and I'm not sure whether or not it's a good idea to provide sub pages in the bottom edge itself (we may have to go through 4-5 pages).
Asking an input from designers about indented list items in a bottom edge.
You can test this, downloading the document at [1] and opening it from the Ubuntu Document Viewer release, available on the Store.
