Bug Description

Currently the one file that contains a graphic representation of the related release name mascot critter contains the name of that critter in its file name. Therefore the per cycle update (which has not actually occurred since qq) required multiple changes. By just changing the file name to always be ubuntu-mascot-creature.png, we will only have to change the file itself hereafter.

(and yes, the QQ one is a .jpg file, but after review, I think that was an error and it should be a simplier .png graphic.)

I'm setting this one back to "in progress" and am reversing the decision to change the file to .PNG from .JPG
At the same time I am stealing the tahr graphic that was just added to the installation slide show by Dimitri John Ledkov, and adding his name to this bug report so that he knows.

You pay too much attention ;-) otherwise sounds good to me.

The pristine mascot is a png, with transparent background. It was my improvisation to add default background to it. You can fetch the tahr.png from the images-sources/ in the ubiquity slideshow branch and tweak to fit as you like for the docs.

"The pristine mascot is a png, with transparent background." Yes, I saw that. However, and since this is for Ubuntu desktop, I decided to use the JPG with the background already added. I just had to crop and resize it for our 250X200 pixel footprint.

We have struggled with this for two cycles now, as the Desktop help project almost died out and nobody that was left knew what the procedure was for changing the mascot graphic, which was still the QQ fish. I have been pestering people for months about this and getting nowhere. Now it is finally done.
