Bug Description
There appears to be some characters that are used within the manual that are not supported by the Ubuntu font.

This issue has been checked against revision 20 (located at the above url).
Look at page 13.
The text string is "You will need to open Applications ï¿¿ Accessories ï¿¿ Terminal".

The problem is that the Ubuntu font doesn't (yet) provide the requested character. The \then command prints ‣ (U+2023).
There are a few workarounds available:
1. Redefine the \then command to use the same (U+2023) character from a different font.
2. Redefine the \then command to use a different character from the Ubuntu font.
3. Choose a different font altogether.
(I don't think that the Ubuntu font looks that good as body text, frankly.)
