Problem may be related to keyboard, installing on same PC in English language declaring Italian keyboard i have the problem, and also with Italian language and Italian keyboard while installing in English language declaring English keyboard the install was successful.

Edit: on a different PC also specifying English language and keyboard i found the same problem.

Also w ISO dated 2024-09-26 06:45
But for my experience problem occurs starting with 'install ubuntu' while starting with 'try ubuntu' and doing some test in the live session before install the problem does not occur and install is successful.

This bug report has several different comments, I'm going to focus on the original problem reported, which is getStorageV2() returned error 500 when attempting a TPMFDE install. This is fixed at this point.

If you were to continue with a TPMFDE install today you would run into LP: #2081185.

Any other problem, including keyboard related ones, need to be tracked separately as they are not related to these "getStorageV2() 500" or "no such device: ubuntu-boot" issues.

Tested with ISO 2024-10-01 06:34 installer updated itself and install ran fine, No problem with Italian keyboard but installer still shows the crown of Noble 24.04.
