Hi,

Same problem too with latest 24.04 and 24.10.
At the AD connection step, after entering my AD address, ADM user and password, I click on next and it's stuck.
In the log I have:

/var/log/installer/ubuntu_bootstrap.log:
DEBUG subiquity_client: POST http://localhost/active_directory
DEBUG subiquity_client: ==> SetActiveDirectory(AdConnectionInfo(adminName: myadminname, domaineName: ad.mydomaine.fr, password: *****)) null
DEBUG subiquity_client: GET http://localhost/active_directory/join_result?wait=true

And it's stuck here

/var/log/installer/subiquity-server-debug.log

DEBUG subiquitycore.utils:77 run_command called: ['udevadm', 'settle', '-t', '0']
DEBUG subiquitycore.utils:96 run_command ['udevadm', 'settle', '-t', '0'] exited with code 0

And it's stuck here

Hi there and thanks for the report(s),

Could you please provide the contents of /var/log/installer? In particular /var/log/installer/subiquity-server-debug.log is most important but the other files are useful too.

I found out too late how to post a file on the site.
So you have pastbin and this tar.gz containing same files

Thanks for the logs. Could you confirm that you can proceed with the install just fine normally, i.e., without enrolling in AD?

Hi,
Yes, I tried again to be sure , and it works without enrolling in AD

Thanks for the update. Looking at the logs I'm seeing Subiquity waiting for confirmation from the frontend, so I'm leaning towards this being a bug on the Desktop side of things. I've already added them to the bug but I'll bring it up with them next week.
