installer remains on 'preparing ubuntu'

Problem occurs starting with 'test ubuntu' then testing some apps in live, then 'install ubuntu'
Starting directly with 'install ubuntu' problem does NOT occur.

Same problem here.

Therefore, I cannot proceed with the installation when choosing to go in the live environment before installing Ubuntu 23.10.

Terminal output of ubuntu-desktop-installer is attached.

I have no /var/log/installer/ubuntu_desktop_installer.log file.

Ubuntu 23.10 with new installer
After using "Try Ubuntu" to test sound, display, bluetooth etc., I went to Install and the message appeared
"Preparing Ubuntu"
Unable to proceed further.
I rebooted the ISO and chose "Install" and the installation was successful.
