Strange Red Light in MacBook 4,1 Headphone Jack

Bug Description

I noticed a strange red light glowing inside of my headphone jack on my MacBook 4,1. It doesn't usually glow, only in Ubuntu. I didn't think the macbook supported anything but normal headphones. I think there's a flag that should be set of unset in the audio-hardware driver used here.

There is a light, if it is an SPDIF incide headphone jack. But it should turn on only if the headphones are connected.

Look in the User Manual if there is really a SPDIF in your version of MacBook.
