I can't get any Linux distro to boot yet, or I'd gladly supply whatever output of dmidecode, sorry

Ivan: Thanks for the info!

Ali: The next thing we need to do is find out how the upstream linux support for this device looks currently and if there is already a device tree we can use or patches we can cherry-pick into our tree.
The device info we have should be enough to get the automatic configuration at boot working.

I have the Latitude 7455 X1E-80-100 32gb without the cellular modem.

I have missued one of the other device trees. Best success was with:

devicetree /casper/dtbs/x1e80100-dell-xps13-9345.dtb

Note: The tricky part is that the USB-A port is not working, so I am using a USB-C docking station.
With that I can use an USB to mount the live system and e.g. mouse (touchpad not working)

@antonjahn That's great news. Have you tried the HP X14 dtb, too? This one has 1 USB-A port, too, and its working. As for bringing it up further, do you have an ACPI dump of it for https://github.com/aarch64-laptops/build ? hwmon export? dmesg outputcould also help.

I could not bring the HP X14 dtb to boot. Did not capture the logs in detail, but it looks like an error relating to the TPM module. I have disabled secure boot, but the dell xps13 device tree is the only one that comes up so far.

Tried to collect the data you suggested.

Note: Installing the image and booting from nvme does not succeed so far. To reproduce the boot process I add "break=premount" then wait for a while for some processes to settle, then fiddle with the USB-C docking
station, switching between the two USB-C ports, until the USB-Stick connected to the docking station is identfied. Then break out of the premount shell and the live system boots.

If there is any other data I can provide to move this forward, please let me know!
