Bug Description

http://community.ubuntu.com/contribute/quality/ points to the now deprecated ubuntu qa site and activities pages. Instead, the page can be simplified and linked to the roles pages on the wiki and perhaps provide a brief intro to each. The roles pages on the wiki are kept more current for activities.

The how to join and Get started sections should be revamped so the page won't become out of date so quickly and reads easier.

I made some quick edits to remove the bad picture link and simplify the page. Leaving this bug open for further comments and hopefully a picture suggestion as the page is now bare :-)

http://community.ubuntu.com/contribute/quality/ and https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam seem to address the same purpose.
The former has a better introduction to what QA Team is and what it does.
The latter is better at explaining the details of how to get usefully involved.

Is there a need to keep both pages on the separate servers?
The main reason against a merge that I can see is merely the formatting difference.

You could say that about many of the pages on community.ubuntu.com :) The purpose of community.u.c this is a gentle, uniform introduction to each project that people can browse through easily on one website.

The nitty gritty details still belong on the wiki and/or project pages controlled directly by each project.

Closing this as no image was forthcoming :-) The details remain on the wiki.
