Bug Description

The data format provided under c-i.u.c/query/ is deprecated, and is intended to disappear in an upcoming cycle (though we expect it to remain in place for existing rekeases).

Use of it should be replaced with parsing of simplestreams.

I do not believe that MaaS is using query data. Juju is actively working to remove use of query data. Feel free to copy query data over for hosting, but the current plan is to drop query data with yakkety and your sync will fail for that release forward.
