Bug Description

We'd like to transition the ubiquity autopilot tests to the CI team. Currently the tests are being run in jenkins;

https://jenkins.qa.ubuntu.com/view/Ubiquity/view/Ubuntu/

We'd like the output of these tests to be added to the dashboard. In addition, we'd like to make there success a promotion criteria for moving the proposed image to current as another sanity check. These tests test the installer itself, simulating a user utilizing the installer, unlike preseeding.

Is this something that patches against lp:ubuntu-test-cases/desktop? Can we take a look at the job configuration, and are there scripts to generate the jobs? (see: lp:ubuntu-test-runlists/jenkins-smoketest-setup for the existing smoke test creation scripts)

Tests are part of the source code of Ubiquity [1][2] and is made of a specific runner and autopilot tests.
They run in the QA Lab on rabisu and drude is the jenkins server [3]
There are 3 templates and a script to generate the configurations for these jobs and it is available in the source code [4]
The procedure to deploy/update the jobs is described in the documentation [5]

I cannot see lp:ubuntu-test-runlists/jenkins-smoketest-setup, it gives me a permission denied.

Hmm, I thought I had responded to this already. You'll need to team in the path also:
bzr branch lp:~canonical-ci-engineering/ubuntu-test-runlists/jenkins-smoketest-setup

Hopefully there's nothing specific about this particular node that it needs in order to run?
