Bug Description

I´ve created a bootable USB pen drive with Ubuntu 13.04 64-bit ISO, using my wifes HP Probook 4310 running the very same Ubuntu 13.04 64-bit and his bootable disk creator utility.

I´ve tried to boot from this USB pen drive on my HP 450 notebook, on an effort to install the new version of Ubuntu on my PC, wich now is running Win7Pro, but it does not work. I can´t pass trough the initial steps of the initialization, stopping on a black screen.

I also tried with a CD-ROM with Ubuntu 12.10 ISO but have the same negative result.

Is there any problem with this HP 450 notebook to work with Ubuntu ?

I solve the problem by clicking the F3 key and increase brightness. It seams like something wrong is setting brightness to "zero" but, when I hit the F3 some times, the brightness increase and the instalation process goes very fine.
